SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

are not viable for job opportunities in their respective areas.
For instance, High School Brinjan offers paddy cultivation
as a vocational trade, despite the area lacking paddy fields.
Before assigning any trade to a school, thorough research must
be conducted. Schools and all relevant stakeholders should
be consulted to ensure the chosen trade provides promising
livelihood opportunities. Our local arts and crafts are gradually
disappearing. To conserve them, incorporating these traditional
skills into school curricula is essential.

2. Samagra Shiksha should budget and enhance
the allocation of funds for botanical, zoological,
      environmental, industrial, and vocational course-related
trips to promote experiential learning and provide
students with practical, hands-on exposure in these areas.

GOVERNMENT

3. Uneven allocation of Funds needs to be addressed:
During the survey, a common complaint was the lack of funds
in many schools. However, some schools, such as High School
Nilnag, High School Bonin, HSS Dragger, and HSS Wathors,
reported no issues regarding funding. This uneven distribution
of funds needs to be thoroughly investigated and addressed to
ensure equitable allocation across all schools.

4. Need to ensure proper classrooms and ensure safe
environment – Regular safety & productivity Audits are
required; For the proper implementation of NEP 2020, the
government must focus on improving infrastructure, including
proper classrooms, ICT facilities, and the provision of AGAs
and ATL labs. Priority should be given to schools where
students are forced to take classes in unsafe environments,
such as battery rooms, as this poses a significant risk to their
      lives.
